Now Accepting Holiday Reservations!

At SLV Pet Care, we have limited holiday availability, so it's best to plan ahead. We are now accepting reservations for Thanksgiving and Christmas/Chanukah/New Year's. Our holiday reservation policy is slightly different than our normal reservation policy, and is outlined below.


SLV Pet Care LLC 2021 Holiday Policy:


Reservations will be first come, first served, and the process is slightly different than with regular bookings. Things you need to know before submitting a reservation request:

  • Applicable Dates: The following information applies to service requests during the following dates: November 15th-November 30th and December 18th-January 3rd

  • Overnight Pet Sitting: Availability for overnight pet sitting is extremely limited, and requests must be made a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to the start date.

  • Drop-in Pet Sitting and Livestock Care: Availability will be limited, and requests must be made a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to the start date.

  • Deposits: For ALL overnight pet sitting, drop-in pet sitting, and livestock care, a deposit of 50% of the total amount due will be required. This deposit in non-refundable and is due at the time services are booked. The remaining balance for services will be due seven (7) days prior to the service start date. Please refer to the "Dog Walking/Adventures" point below for deposit/cancellation information for those services.

  • Dog Walking/Adventures: No change in availability, but requests must be made a minimum of one (1) week in advance. A 50% deposit for services will be required. Cancellation of dog walking services can be made up to two (2) business days prior to walk time with no charges incurred, and the deposit will be refunded. Cancellation after the cutoff date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Cancellations: For ALL overnight pet sitting, drop-in pet sitting, and livestock care, cancellations must be made fourteen (14) days prior to the service start date, and any deposit monies will be forfeited. If cancellation is made after this 14-day cut-off, the client forfeits any deposit monies and will be required to pay the remaining balance owed.

  • Discounts/Coupons: Although many places increase their rates for the holidays, SLV Pet Care's rates will remain the same as during the rest of the year. However, we will not be accepting any coupons/discounts on reservations made for services booked during the following dates:

    • November 15th-November 30th

    • December 18th-January 3rd
